Armed and ready
THERE was bright yellow as far as the eye could see at Merri River School last Friday.

The final day of term also signalled ‘R U OK? Day’ for staff and students, who were eager to dress in bright yellow and take part in a range of special activities.
Face painting, Minecraft games, donuts, fruit platters and biscuits were enjoyed while friendship bracelets, a disco, a photo booth, nail painting, face painting and a movie were also popular.
Painting an R U OK? banner also proved a popular activity while the highlight of the day, for many, was a staff versus students football match.
With encouragement from team coach Ken Radley, the students worked hard all over the ground but were defeated by staff, 8.5.53 to 3.3.21.
