BAMI opens in Liebig Street
FAST food shouldn’t just be quick and easy – it should be tasty, nutritious and affordable.
And that’s exactly what you will find when you head to one of Liebig Street’s newest traders, BAMI Special Vietnamese.
Since opening its doors to customers yesterday (Thursday) morning, BAMI staff have been busy serving up fresh cooked meals that not only fill you up but nourish your body and soul.
“Our mission statement is to elevate Aussie meals with tasty Vietnamese greens in every bite; we strive to change the way Aussies experience fast food,” co-owner Mai Nong said.
“My husband Trien and I started our business from a food van back in 2016 and we now have 12 stores – Warrnambool is our first in Victoria and next month we will open our 13th store in Melbourne.
“We have made a promise to enhance the wellbeing of every Aussie by infusing more greens into our meals, ensuring at least 45 per cent of our ingredients includes green components.”
And not only are the dishes loaded with fresh vegetables, they also feature the tastiest of sauces and delicate meats of your choice.
Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch or a hearty dinner for the family, the menu is not only extensive but appealing.
Along with the more traditional Vietnamese dishes such as pad thai, steamed buns, rice and sweet and sour options, the BAMI roll is a specialty.
“Our BAMI roll features our signature crackling roast pork and is one of the most popular items on the menu,” Mai said.
“Along with our Green bowls and rolls which are very tasty and nutritious.”
For added customer convenience, BAMI offers a ‘door dash’ (home delivery service) for Warrnambool customers or orders can be placed online for in-store pick up.
“We also have a self-order kiosk in the shop where people who prefer not to order over the counter can place their order.”
BAMI Special Vietnamese is fully licensed and can also cater for group bookings for lunch or dinner.
