Brown wins at East Fram
JOSH Brown finished on 36 to take out the men’s scratch event at the East Framlingham golf course last week.
Last Wednesday’s competition attracted another strong field of players, with 57 on course.
Anthony Eccles took out the men’s handicap with 47-15-32.
The scratch handicap was won by Andy Brown 44 and Rhys Raymond 44 while Darcy Worrall took out the non-handicap with 48-16-32.
In the ladies’ competition, Maria O’Rourke won with 56-21-35 while Pauline Armstrong took the scratch on 53.
The men’s longest drive was won by Andy Brown while Maria O’Rourke won for the ladies.
Archie Heffernan had a good day on the course to win the junior under 16s handicap.
Nearest the pins: 1st Caleb Kavanagh, 2nd Andy Brown (eagle), 3rd Rhys Raymond, 4th Josh Brown, 5th Blake Heffernan, 6th Brett Worrall, 7th Andy Brown, 8th Tony Kenna and 9th Josh Brown.
The raffle winner was Josh Brown.
