Caring homes needed
WITH a vision to end cruelty to all animals, to improve animal welfare and to support owners with their pets, the team at Warrnambool RSPCA is second-to-none.

Jordan Waters and her staff, together with a band of dedicated volunteers, work hard to not only ensure the animals in their care are well looked after and well treated, they also do all they can to keep them happy and content.
“We all absolutely love animals and it breaks our hearts to see or hear of any who have been mistreated,” Jordan said.
“With kitten season fast approaching, we are heading into a really busy period when it comes to finding new homes for an influx of kittens, along with our usual number of cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs – all creatures.”
While some animals are reluctantly surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them due to a variety of unseen circumstances, some are handed over to the RSPCA due to mistreatment or neglect.
“At the moment we have more than 30 dogs here at Warrnambool and several cats but we expected the cat and kitten numbers to increase to well over 100 throughout spring and summer,” Jordan said.
“We are desperate to find new homes for these animals; some we have had here for a relatively long period, including two-year-old German Shepherd Kelpie Dexter who has been with us for over 80 days.
“We would love to find Dexter, and others here, a kind, loving and supportive forever home.”
The Warrnambool RSPCA would love to hear from anyone who can provide shelter, food and a loving home.
