THE Crystal Lee Foundation is hoping for a strong turn-out at its next fundraising event.

By Staff Writer

A special high tea is currently being organised, to be held on Sunday October 22 at The Wharf Restaurant in Port Fairy.

Guests will join host Liam Fitzgerald for an afternoon of fine food, music and entertainment. Hear inspiring stories of local people doing great things in their community, including Tracey Wilson from Mosswood Wildlife, Ben Pohlner from Volcano Produce and Don McDonald from Friends of St Brigids.

Music will be provided by talented local Zoe Borthwick and all attendees will receive a bag full of information from various local groups.

The event will start at 3.30pm and will follow a ‘Look to Local’ theme. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite, with all proceeds supporting the Crystal Lee Foundation.

The foundation was founded in 2019 to fill a gap in care and support services for young people, from birth to 24 years of age, and their families across south west Victoria who are impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
