Once again Warrnambool’s diversity shone through last weekend, with large crowds enjoying a multicultural event on the lawns of Lake Pertobe.

The lush lawns of Lake Pertobe were again awash with colour, music and fun last weekend as people from all corners of the district gathered to enjoy this year’s Warrnambool Portugese Festival.

The 2024 Warrnambool Portuguese Festival showcased Portuguese culture, cuisine and music during a well-attended weekend of festivities.

A gala evening was held on Saturday night and on Sunday morning the festivities continued with an official ceremony at Cannon Hill followed by a free afternoon of entertainment at Lake Pertobe.

Dancing, entertainment and food was enjoyed by participants and visitors.
