Don’t miss the Fairmont Avenue display
ALL roads lead to Fairmont Avenue this festive season.

Families looking for some colourful and exciting Christmas light displays between now and Boxing Day should head to Kat Reeves’ Warrnambool home.
There you will find a wonderful display themed around teddy bears.
“The teddy’s have really taken over our front yard and our home,” Kat said.
“We have teddies playing musical instruments, teddies enjoying a picnic and the main attraction, a giant 2.7metre high teddy with a drum which we’ve fondly called Rosie in honour of my husband Luke’s mum Maree who sadly passed away from cancer after a long battle.
“Rosie is really the highlight of the display and takes pride of place right in the centre.”
Kat and her family have spent just over a fortnight setting up their Christmas display and are happy to share it with the community, bringing joy and smiles to the faces of all who visit.
“The street does get quite busy at night and we’re fortunate to have such lovely, obliging neighbours,” she said.
“By doing this for the community I’m hoping the community can give a little back via a donation towards the Cancer Council.
“I’m a registered collector and have tins out at night for people who are able to donate; every little bit helps.”
As part of the festivities in Fairmont Avenue, Mrs Claus will make a special appearance around 6.30pm most nights.
