Fairy Street comes alive
WARRNAMBOOL’S Fairy Street came alive last Friday night as crowds enjoyed a market atmosphere.
Shoppers took the opportunity to grab some Christmas bargains, along with a few unique gifts for that ‘hard to buy for’ person.
The inaugural twilight market, an initiative of Warrnambool City Council, was held at the former Callaghans site.
Several Fairy Street businesses also had extended trading hours for the night.
Food vans, live music, free face painting and special appearances by Santa and his elf – along with street performer The Christmas Angel – added to the festive atmosphere.
