Fresh food fun
WARRNAMBOOL West Primary School students had a fun glimpse into where their food comes from late last month.

The foundation to year three students visited Tower Hill Beekeeping and Volcano Poduce for a hands-on experience as part of their inquiry unit.
During the visit to Tower Hill Beekeeping, Tim explained how the bees make honey in the hive as well as the process of collecting honey.
At Volcano Produce, Ben and the team showed students the variety of fruit and vegetables grown on the property.
They then raced to fill their containers with freshly picked cabbages to donate to Food Share.
Afterwards, they were able to pick (and eat) some delicious strawberries.
