Good results at East Fram
FORTY-nine players enjoyed a round of golf at East Framlingham last Wednesday.
The men’s scratch was a close battle, with Tony Kenna, Peter Harlock and Gerard Eccles all finishing on 39.
The men’s handicap was won by Peter Harlock 39-9-40 while the scratch handicap went to Darren Hansford 48.
Jeff Westmore took out the men’s non-handicap event on 51-16-35.
The ladies’ scratch was won by Gwenda Malseed with 37 while the handicap was won by Pauline Armstrong 56-18-38.
The longest drives went to Paddy Scanlon and Cathie West.
In the junior under 16 competition, Hugh Kenna finished on 57 to win the handicap while Liam Kenna won the scratch with 65-25-40.
Nearest the pins: 1st Darren Hansford, 2nd Brett Willsher, 3rd James McLeod, 4th and 5th Paddy Scanlon, 6th and 8th Tony Kenna, 9th Ross Corbett.
John Eccles was the lucky raffle winner.
