Saturday night saw over 60 Sprintcars, including 30 open and 34 Pro cars, take to the track along with the running of the prestigious Super Rod Cup for what was an action-packed program.

Jock Goodyer had a great night out, finishing on top of the podium, ahead of Jamie Veal with Tate Frost securing third.

In a dramatic feature race for the Pro Sprintcars, Steven Loader maintained a flawless night to take victory from Andy Hibbert in second place and Dennis Jones, the series leader, in third.

In the Super Rods, Jason Kavanagh took the chequered flag, followed by Neville Gange and Shaun Walsh.

Premier Speedway’s 2024 season will wrap-up next weekend with the Sprintcar Easter Trail.

Gates open at 3pm Easter Sunday, with late models, Sprintcars, Super Rods and a huge fireworks display set to entertain.

On track action will kick off at 5pm.
