The town is well-known for its annual Folk Festival over the March long weekend and this year will be no exception; with loads of entertainment, market stalls, food and fun to be enjoyed by all ages.

The Port Fairy Street Fair kicks off with live music on the Village Green from 5pm-7pm this Friday.

A special kids’ zone will again run between 10am and 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday with plenty to keep youngsters entertained.

With everything from face painting, giant games, woodwork, fairy floss and snow cones through to a sensory play station, water colour station and creative crafts, children of all ages will be amused for hours.

Saturday’s program will also see a puppet show by Krazy Koala at 11am, Tim Credible the Magician at 1pm and Woodys World from 3pm – all taking place at the roundabout.

Live music will continue throughout the long weekend, with the stage at the Village Green in full swing from 12noon each day.

Bargain hunters, foodies and craft lovers will delight in a wonderful array of stalls at the markets and food stalls at Railway Place, Sackville Street and Bank Street between 9am-5pm Saturday and Sunday and until 2pm on Monday.

The west end of Bank Street will come alive with a busking competition between 10am and 4pm on Saturday while the Flying Flamingos will entertain from 10am.

With so much to see and do, make sure you head to Port Fairy for some great entertainment, food, fun and shopping this weekend.
