Kicking with the best
TALENTED youngster Fred Goodall is gaining valuable experience on the soccer field.
Fred, who plays soccer locally for the Warrnambool Wolves under 12 side and is in year 4 at Warrnambool East Primary School, was recently invited to participate as a player at the Football Victoria International Coaches Experience.
This experience was held at the home of the Matilda’s in Bundoora.
“Over the three days Fred took part in structured technical and tactical-focussed sessions under the guidance of international guest coaches Boris Bjelkanovic (Malmo) and Dennis Schmidt (Eintracht Frankfurt under 9 academy coach).
He also played in a series of matches to close out the gala.
“The visiting coaches work officially for their clubs as either coaches, scouts, analysts, heads of recruitment or directors,” Fred’s proud mum Haylee said.
“It was an amazing experience for him.”
