Panmure in lights

WHEN driving around the district looking at Christmas lights this festive season, a stop in Panmure is a must.

Lisa and her partner at 8840 Princes Highway have spent the last two months decorating their home, inside and out, with a large amount of Christmas lights, inflatables and ornaments.

And their hard work is reflected in the bright and colourful display that hundreds of passers-by are now enjoying.

“This really is my guilty pleasure,” Lisa said.

“I’ve been doing this for about 17 years now; I used to decorate my home in Melbourne but since being on a bigger block here in Panmure I have a bigger canvas.

“We just love Christmas and the joy our display brings to so many people. We turn them all on as soon as it gets dark each night and we leave them on until late. Everyone is welcome to stop and enjoy.”
