Paulin tops leaderboard
NIRRANDA’S John Paulin and Russells Creek netballer Hannah Van Zyl are currently sitting on top of the Warrnambool and District MVP leaderboards.
The district’s senior football and netball MVP leaders have been released ahead of round 13 this weekend.
The league released details of the current leaderboards earlier this week. Paulin currently sits on top of the senior football MVP with 24 votes, followed by Merrivale’s Tate Porter on 23 and Kolora Noorat’s Fred Beasley in third on 20.
Kurt Lenehan (South Rovers) sits fourth on 19, followed by Jacob Brooks (Old Collegians) 15, Sandon Williams (South Rovers) 14, Tyler Murnane (Purnim) and Mandy Sandow (Merrivale) both on 13.
Rounding out the top 14 – and all currently on 12 votes – are Dylan Burns (Russells Creek), Ash Hunt and Marcus Hickey (Timboon Demons), Brad Edge (Allansford), Joel Moloney (Kolora Noorat) and Luke Pearson (Dennington).
The A grade netball MVP board is currently being led by Russells Creek player Hannah Van Zyl on 25 votes followed by Nirranda’s Jo Couch on 22 and Panmure’s Jessica Rohan and Kolora Noorat’s Molly Bourke tied for third on 20.
Rounding out the top 10 are Rebecca Hunt (Allansford) on 19, Lilly Sanderson (Old Collegians) 18 and Asha Roche (South Rovers), Carly Peake (Merrivale), Elisha Sobey (Merrivale) and Macy Gale (Timboon Demons) all on 17 votes.
