Pestka wins Max’s Race
SPRINTCAR champ Daniel Pestka put another huge win in the books last weekend, taking out the highly-regarded Max’s Race at Premier Speedway.
In front of a strong crowd at Premier on Saturday, more than 50 nominations were received for Max’s Race and round two of the Total Tools Warrnambool 2024/25 track championship.
More than 90 cars hit the high banks of Premier over three divisions throughout the night.
The highlight of the program, Max’s Race, offered plenty of action for spectators, with Daniel Pestka working hard to take the flag ahead of Lachlan McHugh, with Tate Frost rounding out the top three.
In the Junior Formula 500s it was Cobden one, two and three with Rusty Ponting taking the chequered flag, Hugo Chivell finishing in second and Zac Stevens third.
The V8 Dirt Modifieds saw Bret Clarke finish ahead of the field, with Zac McDonald in second and Chris Corbett third.
