Police investigate fatality
POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Port Fairy last Monday afternoon.
It is understood two cars collided near the intersection of Hamilton-Port Fairy and Blackwood roads at about 3pm.
One driver, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver of the other car was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established.
The investigation remains ongoing.
