Raymond takes longest drive at East Fram

RHYS Raymond recorded the longest drive at the East Framlingham Golf Club last week.

Around 70 players took to the greens on Wednesday for the club’s popular twilight season competition. 

In the men’s scratch, Riley Scanlon finished on 35, Daniel Kenna 37, George Beasley 38 and Brett Wilsher 38.

Nearest the pins went to the following players: 

1st hole L. Balcome, 2nd Will Cain, 3rd Riley Scanlon, 4th, 5th and 8th Daniel Kenna, 6th and 7th James McLeod and 9th Brett Wilsher. 

The men’s handicap saw Nick Johnstone on 45 and L. Balcome on 46. 

The men’s non-handicap went to L. Balcome 35 and Lachie Wareham 36. 

Leo Beasley won the junior under 16 years with 44 while Paddy Scanlon took the scratch on 56.
