Earlier this month the trio travelled to Preston to play in the Victorian Roller Derby League modified contact junior scrimmage – team black v team white.

Ella-Mental, Sassinator and Pivotal Moment were together on the white team, joining other juniors from all around the state.

The competition was tough, but so were the players.

Despite a mid-game injury to a member of the black team that didn’t slow them down and they eventually took the win.

Congratulations to Pivotal Moment who was awarded Most Valuable Player for team white.

All three Warrnambool players played hard and did some great things on the track, showing that the future of roller derby in Warrnambool is in good hands.
