Rotarians unite
ROTARIANS from across the south west will join in a campaign against family and domestic violence.
A joint fundraiser, led by the Rotary Club of Cobden, will be held at Warrnambool’s 10 Pin Bowling Centre on Friday, October 27 and has been organised to raise awareness and funds for this important campaign.
Ten Rotary clubs will be represented, including Port Fairy, Portland, Portland Bay, Warrnambool, Warrnambool East, Warrnambool Central, Warrnambool Daybreak, Terang, Camperdown and Cobden.
According to Cobden’s Gary Kimber, the event will run from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
“Hopefully over 100 Rotarians, partners, family and friends will take part,” Mr Kimber said. He said tickets cost $20 per person which covers all bowling costs.
“This very important campaign is a major Rotary initiative and is fully supported by District 9780’s District Governor Ian McKay,” Mr Kimber said.
“As well as the fundraising, fun and fellowship will be a great part of the night as this is the first time all 10 clubs will have come together.”
