Running club kicks off this Sunday
MORE than 30 participants took part in last week’s social run for the Warrnambool Running Club.
This Sunday marks the official start to the new season, with registrations starting from 8.30am at Lake Pertobe (opposite the kiosk).
This will be a five-kilometre run, starting from the promenade at the breakwater.
The club is planning to hold 11 events throughout the next five months, with distances of five, six, eight and 10 kilometres at various locations across the district.
All abilities are most welcome as races are handicapped, allowing everyone the opportunity to take out a win.
