Sight checks to continue in schools
THE eye health of school children across the district is continuing to be monitored thanks to the efforts of local Lions Club members.
A hands-on workshop was held earlier this week in preparation for the organisation’s return to screening at various local schools at the end of this month.
Clubs from across the district, including Warrnambool, Koroit and Terang, took part in the session with some members refreshing their skills while others were keen to join the team.
“It was great to see so many people at the session who are keen to help us continue this vital program in our schools,” Lions member Sue Amos said.
