Special milestone for Emma House
WARRNAMBOOL’S Emma House will celebrate a special milestone next week with the opening of its new office in Kepler Street.
The new location will be home to Emma House and The Sexual Assault and Family Violence Centre (SAFV), providing a warm and welcoming space for clients and staff.
Last year the two operations united, creating a stronger and sustainable future for women’s services in the south west.
The SAFV operates in both Barwon and Wimmera and for more than 45 years, together with Emma House, has been providing support for women and children impacted by both family and sexual violence.
As part of this transition, a commitment was made to a new space for staff and clients in Warrnambool.
The official celebratory opening will take place next Thursday, May 30.
