Stampede success
WARRNAMBOOL Roller Derby members have enjoyed success at the first round of the Statewide Stampede.

Last Saturday, April 20, saw Warrnambool’s Monk (88) and The Mad Splatter (131) join Team Regional Victoria (TRV) to play in the stampede, hosted by Ballarat Roller Derby League.
TRV played against Pivot City Rangers, scoring 146 points to 315.
Modified contact skaters Lady Kill-a-ton (76), Evil Offspring (13) and Cheap Skate (578) played alongside skaters from across the state in a black v white match.
The Warrnambool trio was on the winning side, with the white team defeating black 250-235.
The next Statewide Stampede will be held in Bendigo on Saturday, May 18.
