State finals await
THERE’S plenty of excitement at Koroit and District Primary School this week.
Koroit basketballers Millie, Lawson, Tate, Patrick, Davey, Eva and Thomas are thrilled to be heading to Melbourne in December to play in the state titles.
A group of talented year three/four students have dribbled and shot their way through to this year’s state basketball finals, to be held in Melbourne on December 5.
The young basketballers finished on top at this week’s regionals in Hamilton, earning themselves a place at the state titles (and, according to staff, believed to be for the first time in the school’s history).
In Hamilton earlier this week, Koroit tested themselves against teams from St Johns, Allansford, Hamilton College, St Mary’s and Grassmere.
