Strong field at East Fram
A STRONG field of golfers once again contested the scratch event at the East Framlingham course last week.
The twilight series continues to attract good numbers to the course.
The men’s scratch was won by James McLeod, Des Coulson, James Kenna, Tony Kenna and Paddy Scanlon all on 39.
Danny Kenna, 39-8-31 took out the men’s handicap while the scratch went to Blake Johnson on 43.
The men’s non-handicap was won by Wayne Heinrich on 59-16-33 while Linda Kenna took out the ladies’ scratch with a 52.
The ladies’ handicap was won by Pauline Armstrong with 57-20-37.
Glen Tracey had the longest drive for the men, while for the women, Julie Kenna was longest.
The junior under 16s scratch was won by Gus Kenna on 72.
