Tennis Open a hit
WITH close to 1000 players contesting 51 events, last weekend’s Warrnambool Lawn Open was once again a huge success.
Despite the soaring temperatures, players showed great resilience both on and off the courts, providing entertaining tennis for onlookers.
With categories ranging from under 10 through to under 18 in the juniors, and men’s and women’s open, A, B, C and D events (along with a veterans section) the tournament again proved a highlight on the event calendar for players of all ages and abilities.
