Twilight continues at East Fram

FIFTY players took to the greens at the East Framlingham golf course last Wednesday.

The twilight series continues to attract strong fields each week. In the men’s scratch, Gerard Eccles finished on 39, Alex White 40 and Danny Kenna 43. 

The men’s handicap saw Glen finish on 47, 17, 30; D. Worrall 52, 17, 35 and Daniel Kenna 43, 8, 35. 

The men’s handicap scratch went to Brett Worrall on 43, Nick Johnstone 55 and J. Ellis 55. 

J. Ellis finished the men’s non-handicap on 55, 18, 37 while Nick Johnstone finished on 55, 18, 37. 

Nick also won the men’s longest drive and Elsie Ironmonger won the ladies’ longest drive. 

Nearest the pins were as follows: 

1st hole Tom Peterson, 2nd Alex White, 3rd Rex Ablett, 4th Bret Wilsher, 5th Leo Beasley, 6th Will Cain, 7th Jeff Thomson, 8th Tony Kenna and 9th Ted Delray.

In the junior under 16 years scratch competition, Ted Kenna finished with 48, 11,37 and Darcy Hutchins 56, 18, 38. 

The under 16 years scratch went to Leo Beasley on 44 followed by Ted Kenna on 48. 

Golf coach Tim Walker will be at the club on Friday December 15 from 5.30pm onwards.
