Twilight series at East Fram
FIFTY-four players contested the latest twilight series round at East Framlingham Golf Club last Wednesday.
The men’s scratch went to Tony Kenna on 37 and Gerard Eccles 37 while the handicap went to Jordan Marshall 44-16-28.
The men’s non-handicap scratch was won by Jack Downie 53 and the non-handicap to Darren Hansford 55-18-37.
Julie Mahney won the ladies’ scratch with 42 while Jan McCluskey took out the non-handicap on 55-20-35 from Chris Van Kempen 55-20-35.
The junior under 16 scratch was won by Reilly Kelly on 50.
Nearest the pins: 1st Nick Kenna, 3rd Jordan Marshall, 4th Matt Jewell, 5th Ayden Bosse, 6th Tony Kenna, 7th Gerard Kenna, 8th Anthony Eccles and 9th Ayden Bosse.
The raffle was won by Adriana Quattrocchi.
The stableford on February 2 attracted 22 players.
The A grade ladies winner was Julie Mahney on 37 points followed by Jo Porter 33.
B grade went to Shirley Scott 40 from Carol Parsons 33 while C grade was won by Jan McCluskey 33 from Leanne McCann 33 on countback.
Nearest the pins: A grade – 2nd shot 4th and 13th Julie Kenna; B grade – 3rd shot 9th/18th Shirley Scott; C grade – 2nd shot 7th/16th Jan McCluskey.
Super pin on the 8th went to Jo Porter.
Next week is two-person ambrose.
