The Warrnambool ‘Surf Grom’ program continues to attract youngsters to the beach, keen to learn how to surf and stay safe in the water this summer.

Under the watchful eye of experienced surf coaches, children between the ages of five and 12 can not only learn how to surf but can also learn basic beach safety skills such as surf survival and rescue tactics, basic first aid and different beach surf conditions.

With an emphasis on enjoyment and involvement, the program uses group-based games to teach kids the fundamentals of surfing while ensuring they have a great time.
