WET and windy conditions greeted the Rangers at Portland’s Friendly Reserve last weekend.

The under 10s put in a great effort to defeat the Portland Panthers 6-1, with a superb goal keeping display by the Rangers.

The under 14 Blue side eased to an 11-1 victory while the senior women lost to an experienced Panthers team, 9-2.

Playing at Jones Oval in Warrnambool, the under 14 Rangers Teal side defeated Hamilton Raiders Soccer Club 15-1 in a goal fest.

The under 17 Rangers lost narrowly to Hamilton Raiders, 4-3.

Playing at Port Fairy’s Southcombe Park, Rangers Blue under 12s defeated Port Fairy Plovers 4-3, with both sides scoring long range goals.

The reserves lost 2-0.

The Rangers’ senior side impressed with a 4-1 win on a wet and fast pitch.

Owen Kirby and Scott Twycross both scored a goal while Carl Williams hit the back of the net twice to continue his goal-scoring form.
