The ‘Artolescence’ exhibition will no doubt attract widespread interest from across the community.

Victorian Minister for Youth, Natalie Suleyman MP, paid a special visit to Warrnambool this week, calling in on the exhibition on Wednesday morning. During her visit, Ms Suleyman also had the opportunity to meet with a number of the young artists.

The exhibition was officially opened this week and showcases the creativity of young people from local secondary schools.

It is curated by the students themselves, in conjunction with the youth department of The F Project. ‘Artolescence’ is one of 12 events taking place as part of South West Youth Fest – the local branch of the wider Victorian Youth Fest.

South West Youth Fest features events and opportunities for young people as well as events brought to the whole community by young people.
